“The cactus or Nopal (Opuntia) Mexican name, Aztec
origin of our prickly pear Opuntia Ficus also said the Indica-planted in

the family of cactaceae grouping in 1600 of which 180 species of the genus

in bright yellow petals which are followed by yellowish-green oval fruit,
orange or purple-red. We can identify some species grown in Morocco which are:
Opuntia Ficus Indica or the real prickly pear, which is in the south, Opuntia
megrecautha, which is common in most regions and Opuntia schumannii that
produces sweet fruits and juicy quality in the south.
Today, following recent studies, scientific research acknowledges these
properties as evidenced by the presentation to the World Congress on Medicinal
and Aromatic Plants Welfare, where the Opuntia was quoted as antipyretic agent,
anti-inflammatory and analgesic.
This precious oil is obtained by cold pressing of the seeds Ficus Indica
d’Opuntia. Due is high standard of fatty acid composition, tocopherol and
sterols. Indeed, its unsaturated fatty acid build-up rate exceeds 75%, it
